Had a different record planned for today, but with the loss of Bud Cort today, I shuffled through my singles to find this treasure.
"She Dances Alone" is a documentary about Kyra Nijinsky, recalling the life of her father, ballet dancer Vaslav Naijinsky. As documentary as the film is, it does parlay into fantasy, as Bud Cort plays the part of the director of the film, pulling memories from Kyra.
He also sings the theme song of the movie in this private released single.
R.I.P. Mr. Cort, you were loved.
