Encounters/I Like Girls
Buck Anderson
Benson Sound Inc. 5021
(1978?)
The web gives no information on Buck Anderson, the label and recording studio was out of Oklahoma City.
Here we have a real people country singer who probably wrote these songs between Star Trek reruns and D&D sessions. Given the catalog number, references to Star Wars and Close Encounters... I am assuming this vanity press was recorded around 1978.
For as much thought as he put in the A side, the B side is his ode the ladies complete with an inept drum solo an a chorus of ladies he probably picked up from a bar.
How this ended up in a dollar bin in Pasadena is beyond me, but I'm glad I found it.
May the force be with you, my Skywalker!
